1. Top Indian arms makers, including Bharat Forge, held rare meetings in Russia to discuss joint ventures and manufacturing of Russian-origin systems.

Russia and Japan are opening doors to Indian workers to address demographic decline and labor shortages. 1. In Indonesia, at least 22 people, including a pregnant woman, died when a fire engulfed a seven-story office building in central Jakarta. The blaze broke out on the first floor of the Kemayoran building and spread quickly.

2. In a significant global effort to revitalize the World Trade Organization (WTO) and promote equitable global trade, CUTS International has launched a new initiative titled “Trade Not Just Aid: Winners and Losers in the WTO” (TRaNJA). The initiative aims to reposition the WTO as the cornerstone of a fair and rule-based multilateral trading system.

3. Bitcoin MENA 2025, the Middle East’s premier annual conference dedicated to advancing Bitcoin understanding, adoption, and innovation, concluded yesterday at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi after two days of intensive discussions on digital finance transformation in the region.
