1. The iconic Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium in the national capital will be redeveloped as a Sports City. Sports ministry sources said that it will cater to all major disciplines and include a lodging facility for athletes. The 102-acre area of the stadium will be rebuilt completely.
2. Jyoti Singh will continue to lead the Indian team as Hockey India announced a 20-member squad for the upcoming International Hockey Federation (FIH) Women’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2025, scheduled to be held in Santiago, Chile, from November 25 to December 13.
3. India assured itself of at least two medals at the Asian Archery Championship 2025 in Dhaka, with both the Recurve Men’s Team and the Compound Women’s Team advancing to the finals after impressive semi-final victories.
