1. The Ministry of Culture will organize the inaugural ceremony for the 150 Years of Vande Mataram on 7th November 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
The event will be graced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the Chief Guest. This grand ceremony will mark the beginning of a year-long nationwide commemoration from 7th November 2025 to 7th November 2026.

2. The National Commission for Women (NCW) conducted consultation sessions across the country on cyber crimes against women and sent its recommendations to the government.
3. The Supreme Court on Thursday (November 6, 2025) heard the bail pleas of Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam and others accused in the Northeast Delhi riots of 2020.
Senior advocate Sanjeev Luthera appearing for Shadab Ahmad argued that organising or participating in protests are not criminal offence. Mr. Ahmad was arrested on April 6, 2020, and was subsequently charged under UAPA.

1. Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam’s much-awaited film Haq is set to hit theatres on November 7. Directed by Suparn S Varma and produced by Junglee Pictures with Insomnia Films and Baweja Studios, the film draws inspiration from a landmark Supreme Court judgment.
2. Kaantha is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language period drama thriller film co-written and directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Samuthirakani, Bhagyashri Borse, and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles based on the life of M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar.[1] The film is jointly produced by Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan under their Spirit Media and Wayfarer Films banners respectively.
Kaantha is scheduled to release in theatres worldwide on 14 November 2025, coinciding Children’s Day in Tamil, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
