2. Subroto Cup International Football Tournament began on 06 Sep. The 61st edition of the tournament will stage across four venues in Delhi till 13th of next month. The first match will be played between NCC versus Chandigarh at 4PM this evening.

The Subroto Cup, an annual school’s football tournament inaugurated in 1960 by the first India Air Force chief, Air Marshal Subroto Mukerjee.

5. UEFA Champions League: Chelsea stunned by Dinamo Zagreb, Real Madrid and Manchester City secure easy wins.
