1. The Sports Ministry has requested International Football Federation (FIFA) and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to allow Indian club sides, Sree Gokulam Kerala FC and ATK Mohun Bagan to compete in the scheduled football tournaments.
Sree Gokulam Kerala FC had already reached Uzbekistan, ahead of its scheduled matches in the southern Uzbekistan city of Qarshi. ATK Mohun Bagan is slated to play the AFC Cup 2022 (Inter-Zone semifinals) on 7th of next month in Bahrain.
2. THE DURAND CUP football, FC Goa defeated Indian Air Force by 1-0 in the Durand Cup at Kishore Bharati Stadium, Kolkata. The match between Sudeva Delhi and Kerala Blasters ended in a draw 1-1, at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati.

6. New Zealand tour of West Indies: Tim Southee and Trent Boult share 7 wickets as New Zealand level ODI series. Sinclair and Holder finished with 4/41 and 3/24 as New Zealand folded for 212. Chasing a below-par total, West Indies, too, didn’t have an ideal start as Boult and Southee removed Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks for ducks each.
