While Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is yet to be solved, his fans and friends from the industry continue to remember him. On Sushant Singh Rajput’s 35th birth anniversary today, many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to the late actor, who’s best known for his roles in films like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Chhichhore and Dil Bechara among others. He passed away on June 14, 2020.

Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram and shared a picture of Sushant in which he is seen smiling happily in a white shirt. She captioned the post with just a heart emoji. Bhumi and Sushant worked together in the 2019 film, Sonchiriya. 

Rajkummar Rao shared a picture of Sushant in which he is seen playing a guitar. Rajkummar captioned the picture with a heart emoji. Sushant and Rajkummar worked together in Kai Po Che.

Ankita Lokhande, who dated Sushant for over six years, shared a video of him, where he is seen playing with his pet dog. Ankita wrote that she will always remember Sushant as a “happy, intelligent, romantic and adorable” man. “I don’t know how to start and what to say but yes today I’m gonna share few of yours old videos Sushant to celebrate you .these are the only memories I hv with u and i will always remember you Like this ❤️happy , intelligent,romantic,mad and adorable #HappyBirthdaySSR (sic),” read the caption of the video shared by the actress.

Sushant’s Raabta co-star and friend Kriti Sanon took to Instagram and shared a happy picture of Sushant and wrote: “This is how I’ll remember you… Smiling like a child! Happy Birthday Sush. I hope you are smiling and at peace wherever you are.” 

Manoj Bajpayee, who worked with Sushant in Sonchiriya, shared a poster of the film and wrote, “Always remember you celebrate you ,your work and cherish all the time that we all spent with you SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT !! Jahan bhi ho tum khush raho (sic).”

Filmmaker Ekta Kapoor shared a video with a series of photos of Sushant from his Pavitra Rishta days and in the end the video says, “Remembering our Manav.” Ekta captioned her post, “Sushi forever! Shining bright like a star! Love n light wherever u r! Happie birth on earth day (sic)!”

Kiara Advani, who played Sakshi Dhoni in the 2016 movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, remembered Sushant Singh Rajput by sharing a throwback picture of the two from the film. The film was a biopic on MS Dhoni, where Sushant played the protagonist. 

Actor Gulshan Devaiah did not know Sushant personally, but he says he’s affected by his death. Gulshan tweeted, “We were not friends, we barely even met a couple of times, but your tragic passing has affected us all, in ways we couldn’t have imagined. You are a symbol of hope, your life (is) a great learning. Your fans will look into the sky & always spot a bright star called SSR. #HappyBirthday (sic).”
