1. Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has said that effective management of the India-Bangladesh border is key to facilitating economic linkages and people-to-people contact. Speaking at the 10th India-Bangladesh Friendship Dialogue.

2. Twenty one fishermen arrested by the Srilankan Navy last month were released by Paruthithurai Court in Srilanka on 21 Feb .

3. The first shipment of 10,000 tonnes of wheat from India for the people of Afghanistan will be dispatched via the Attari-Wagah land border crossing on Tuesday, with more food supplies and other humanitarian assistance expected to follow in the coming weeks.

4. The Ministry of External Affairs will organize a Craft Festival- COALESCENCE from 23 Feb to 27th Feb in New Delhi through its Indian Council for Cultural Relations, ICCR under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Week, which is being celebrated from today to 27th of this month in different states of the country.

1. Iran, Qatar sign cooperation deals as Raisi visits Doha for 1st time : Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani signed 14 bilateral cooperations deals on Monday as Raisi became the first Iranian President to visit Doha in 11 years. As Raisi sought to improve ties with the Gulf, Qatar said it is prepared to work towards a solution agreeable to all parties in Vienna nuclear talks.

2. Sweden will withdraw most of its diplomatic staff from its embassy in Ukraine’s Kyiv amid fears of impending Russian invasion.

3. Australian PM Scott Morrison on 21 Feb called for a full Chinese investigation over alleged use of laser by Chinese warship on an Australian aircraft on February 17. Morrison said his government has not received any answer over the “dangerous, unprofessional and reckless” incident. Meanwhile, Chinese defence ministry defended its actions and said the ships abided by international law.

4. Israel on 21 Feb said that it has successfully tested the “C-Dome” system, its new naval air defence system. The new system is a naval version of the Iron Dome missile defence system, which has been used to shoot down rockets fired from the Gaza Strip.

5. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday extended a decision to ground all private drones and light sports aircraft used for recreational purposes until further notice.

6. China sanctioned two US firms, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Technologies, over the sale of weapons to Taiwa
