The Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Shivaji Park in Mumbai to pay his last respects to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away today morning.

B-Town celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Amir Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and many others pay their last respects to the legendary singer.

Tribute to Nightingale of India 1 Shah Rukh Khan

The entire country has been mourning the loss of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar, who breathed her last today at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. She was 92 years old and was diagnosed with pneumonia and COVID-19. She had been hospitalised for over a month and breathed her last due to multiple organ failure.

Just like everyone else, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also shaken by the death of the тАШNightingale Of IndiaтАЩ and veteran Bollywood singer. PM Modi arrived in the city to pay his last respects. The mortal remains of the legendary singer were draped in tricolour as they were taken to Shivaji Park for the last rites.

Many Bollywood actors and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali were also spotted at the Shivaji Park to attend the funeral where the last rites of the legendary singer were conducted.

Tribute to Nightingale of India 2 Ranbir Kapoor

PM Modi and SRK were also a part of the honorary tribute as they arrived to pay their last respects to the ‘Nightingale of India’. The central government announced two days of state mourning, on Feb 6 and 7, 2022. During the state mourning, the national flag will be flown at half-mast across India.

On Saturday, Lata Mangeshkar’s health deteriorated and she was critical. As per Dr P Samdani, she was undergoing aggressive therapy in the last few days.

Earlier today, many Bollywood celebrities were seen arriving at singer Lata Mangeshkar’s house Prabhukunj in Mumbai to pay their last respects. Several Indian cricketers also paid emotional tributes to the singer by wearing black armbands to mourn the demise of Lata Mangeshkar.
