Chahat rewrites India’s best performance

On the second day of ongoing senior national aquatics championship three new meet records were created.

Leading breast stroke swimmer from Punjab Chahat Arora rewrote India’s best performance & created a new meet record in 50meters breast stroke event which was previously in name of jayaveena Av, 33.76. Chahat clocked 33.62(H).

Srihari created new meet record in 100mtrs freestyle event. Srihari clocked 49.94. Previous record was in name of Veer Dhaval khade, 50.53 created in 2012.

Delhi’s Kushagra Rawat created new meet in 800mtrs free style event with the time 8:08.32. This is the second national record created by rawat at ongoing senior nationals.
