1. 🇫🇷France has submitted the final price offer to India for the 26 Rafale Marine jet deal just ahead of the scheduled visit of India’s national security advisor Ajit Doval to the country.

2. Prime Minister of 🇯🇲Jamaica Dr. Andrew Holness will pay an official visit to India from today till 3rd October. This will be his first visit to India, and also the first-ever bilateral visit of a Prime Minister of Jamaica to India.

3. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal will embark on a four-day visitUnited today States at the invitation of U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo. During his visit, the Minister will co-chair the India-USA CEO Forum on 2nd October and the 6th India-USA Commercial Dialogue on 3rd October in Washington D.C.

4. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has met his counterparts from the UAE, Singapore, Uzbekistan and Denmark on the sidelines of the 79th session of the U.N. General Assembly.

5. Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly criticised Indian government actions in Kashmir, drawing a parallel between Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.

“Similarly, like the people of Palestine, the people of Jammu and Kashmir too, have struggled for a century for their freedom and right to self determination,” he said, accusing India of reneging on its commitments to implement U.N. Security Council resolutions.

6. India’s lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 possibly landed in one of the oldest craters of the Moon, according to scientists who analysed images from the mission and satellites.

The crater was formed during the Nectarian period, which dates back to 3.85 billion years and is one of the oldest time periods in the Moon’s history.

1. The Day after top Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an airstrike, the Israel military said on Sunday that it has eliminated another senior Hezbollah official, Nabil Qaouk, in a precise airstrike.

2. Death toll in Nepal has risen to 170 after torrential rain combined with a devastating series of floods and landslides.

3. In a mission that aims to bring Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams back to Earth, NASA and SpaceX spacecraft carrying Crew-9 members, astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, left for the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday.

4. Twin bomb blasts rocked Mogadishu and the Middle Shabelle region of Somalia. As per police reports, at least six people lost their lives and 10 others were injured in the deadly explosions.

5. In 🇹🇿Tanzania, at least 11 people were killed in a road accident and 21 others were injured after a truck overturned in the Mbeya region of the country’s southern highlands.

6. Seven labourers from Multan were killed late Saturday night in a rebel attack in the Khuda-i-Abadan area of Panjgur town in Balochistan.
