The World Skate Games Italia 2024 are a unique and unprecedented experience in which 12 sports on wheels come together in a whirlwind of breathtaking excitement, providing intense sensations to its diverse audience.
A universal language, that of the skate world, which, thanks to the WSG 2024, unites more than 12,000 between athletes and delegations, from different sports in one global event.
Among the disciplines that will ignite the public, the more urban ones, born on the streets of the world, such as skateboarding, freestyle and scootering, the more adrenalin-fuelled ones and speed sports such as speed, skatecross, downhill and slalom. The exciting team sports, rink hockey, inline hockey and roller derby, through to the much-loved in Italy figure skating.
The World Skate Games Italia 2024 are twelve World Championships within one big event that will involve four Italian regions:
Lazio, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont.
An unparalleled event that after the great success of the WSG 2022 , held in Buenos Aires, is being hosted in Italy for the first time, in its fourth edition, organised by the Italian Federation of Roller Sports (FISR) and the World Skate, international federation.
Each event will be marked by the rhythm of music, an indispensable soundtrack that will enliven every competition in a mix of tricks, jumps, records and team games.
Fan Fests will accompany all races with entertainment, concerts and shows to unite athletes, fans and the entire local community in Pincio, Ostia, Roccaraso, Pescara, Montesilvano, Novara Rimini and many more.
ROME’S WSG2024 VENUES
The capital will be the open-air urban cluster of the WSG ITALIA 2024.
The 3 special venues, Colle Oppio, Pincio and Ostia, will be the focus of the Skateboarding, Scootering, Roller Freestyle, Inline Freestyle, Skate Cross and E-sport competitions.

Abruzzo:
Roccaraso will host Inline Hockey;
Montesilvano Speed Skating track, Roller Derby
Pescara the 100 m Speed
Pescara Montesilvano and Francavilla al mare the Open Inline Skating Marathon,
Sulmona Speed Road;
Chieti Inline Slalom;
Tortoreto Inline Downhill Skateboarding Downhill and Street Luge;
Piedmont:
Rink Hockey will be staged in Novara.
Emilia-Romagna:
Rimini will be the stage for Figure Skating.
WOLF SKATE, THE WSG2024 MASCOT
Wolf Skate, the mascot of the World Skate Games ITALIA 2024, unites Italy and the world of wheels in an original and fun way. Wheel body and wolf head, the mascot was created by international collectible toy designer Joe Ledbetter.
The wheel is the undisputed symbol of all the sports involved and the wolf, one of the animals most widespread in the territories touched by the event. A protected species throughout Europe, it not only highlights the sustainability of a grandiose, zero-impact event, but is also a symbol of community, friendship, curiosity and agility, all characteristics of the skating community.

Heroes in my Town, is the official song of the World Skate Games ITALIA 2024.
Written by Luca D’Aversa, Valerio Errico, Cate Mag and rapper Flaza, Heroes.
An ode to the enthusiasm, adrenaline and happiness of the entire World Skate Family of meet on the streets of Italy and compete with the aim of having fun and being together.
