Till now India received 26 medals, including 6 gold, 9 silver, and 11 bronze. Bharath ranks 14th Position.
2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today had a telephonic conversation with Paralympic Games medal winners Harvinder Singh, Kapil Parmar, Pranav Soorma, Sachin Sarjerao Khilari and Dharambir. He congratulated them on their victory.
3. Gold medal-winning archer Harvinder Singh and sprinter Preethi Pal will be the country’s flag bearers during the closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympics Games on Sunday.

India’s two-time Olympic medal-winning javelin throw star Neeraj Chopra has qualified for this month’s season finale of the prestigious Diamond League after finishing fourth in the overall standings at the end of its 14 series meetings across the world. The season finale will be a two-day affair on September 14 and 15 in Brussels. Chopra accumulated 14 points from his two second-place finishes in the one-day meets held in Doha and Lausanne.
5. In Wrestling, Jyoti Berwal has clinched a gold medal in women’s 76 kg freestyle category at the U20 World Championships in Pontevedra, Spain. Jyoti defeated Ukraine’s Mariia Orlevych in the finals.
