3. India’s 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed the fastest known century in Youth ODIs. He scored three figures in just 52 balls against England in Worcester on Saturday. Suryavanshi knocked 13 fours and 10 sixes. He shared 219-run stand for the second wicket with Vihaan Malhotra, who remained unbeaten on 100. With help of both centuries, India, put to bat, scored 393 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs.

4. In Squash, India’s Anahat Singh clinched the Asian U19 Squash Championship title with a dominant 3-0 victory over Hong Kong China’s Cheung TC in the final. She won in straight games with scores of 11-7, 11-2, 11-8 to secure the gold medal, in Gimcheon, in South Korea, on Saturday.

In the U-17, Aryaveer Dewan made history for India by winning the U17 boys’ title at the Asian Junior Squash Championships.

5. At the 2025 Para-Archery Asian Championships in Beijing, Indian para-archers clinched two golds on Saturday taking total medal tally to seven. The women’s compound team of Sheetal Devi and Jyoti defeated China 148-143 to clinch gold. Harvinder Singh and Bhawna secured another gold in mixed recurve after a dramatic 5-4 shoot-off win.

6. Kidambi Srikanth storms into Men’s Singles semifinals of Canada Open Super 300 badminton tournament.

7. In Boxing, India’s Nupur advanced to the 85+ kg category final of the World Boxing Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan, with a commanding 5-0 victory over Turkey’s Seyma Dustaz in the semifinal.

8. Neeraj Chopra NC Classic 2025 Event Highlights: Neeraj Chopra has won the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 javelin event at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, claiming top spot with a best throw of 86.18m amid extremely windy conditions.
