1. In Badminton, Indian Women’s Doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand entered the quarterfinals at the Singapore Open. The Indian pair will take on Kim So Yeong and Kong Hee Yong of South Korea today for a place in the semi-finals.
2. In Boxing, Sachin Siwach has entered the quarterfinals of the World Qualification Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. Sachin defeated Batuhan Ciftci of Turkey with a unanimous 5-nil victory, in the Men’s 57 kg category.
3. The High Commission of India recently hosted a distinguished event at India House to honour the Indian Women’s Senior Hockey Team, who are in the United Kingdom for the European segment of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023-24.
