🇮🇳India clinch four medals with Avani Lekhara’s Gold, Manish Narwal’s Silver and Mona Agarwal’s Bronze in Shooting; Preethi Pal gets Bronze in 100 meter sprint.
(b) In Badminton, Manasi Joshi crashed out from the women’s singles event losing to Ukraine’s Oksana Kozyna in badminton SL3 category. In Men’s section, Manoj Sarkar also lost to Thailand’s Mongkhon Bunsun in the second match, in SL3 category.
2. On National Sports Day in New Delhi, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, launched the “Retired Sportsperson Empowerment Training” (RESET) Programme. This initiative aims to empower retired athletes by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their employability and career development.
