1. Indian cricket, Gautam Gambhir is set to become the next head coach of the Indian cricket team, following Rahul Dravid’s tenure, which ends after the T20 World Cup 2024.

2. The 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup, a biennial Twenty20 International (T20I) tournament contested by men’s national teams and organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is scheduled to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States from 1 to 29 June 2024. It will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United States.

3. World No. 1 Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty crashed out of the Singapore Open after suffering a shock defeat against Denmark’s world number 34 Daniel Lundgaard and Mads Vestergaard in the opening round, in Singapore Tuesday.

4. Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa got off to a flier and defeated Firouzja Alireza of France in the Armageddon game in the first round of Norway Chess tournament in Stavanger on Tuesday.
