Kerala’s Vidarsa K. Vinod won the silver medal with 462.9, while Railways’ rifle stalwart Ayonika Paul claimed bronze after scoring 451.8. Earlier, Tilottama had topped the qualification round with a score of 591, showing her consistency across the standing, kneeling and prone positions.
3. England fast bowler Josh Tongue scripted history on Friday by becoming the first England bowler this century to take a five-wicket haul in a men’s Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. His spell of 5 for 45 dismantled Australia’s batting lineup as the hosts were bowled out for just 152 in their first innings of the Boxing Day Test.
