2. India’s Koyel Bar and L. Nilam Devi won silver medals in the 55kg Youth and Junior categories to take the country’s tally to six in the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships in Doha, Qatar.

5. In Women’s Cricket, India will lock horns with Bangladesh in the final of the Under-19 Women’s T20 Asia Cup at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The match is scheduled to begin at 7 am Indian Standard Time.
6. India secured a spot in the final by defeating Sri Lanka by four wickets in a Super 4 match.
7. In Tennis, the Indian team defeated Japan 4-2 in their second league match of the Asia-Oceania IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge at the Winchester Arena in Singapore.
8. India will host the 2025 Para Athletics World Championships, marking the first time the prestigious event is held in the country. Scheduled from 26 September to 5 October 2025, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, this will be the 12th edition of the championships.
