1. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) member states unanimously voted to include Boxing in the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.

2. Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar inaugurated ISTAF “Sepak Takraw 2025” World Cup in Patna. Bihar is hosting this World Cup first time. Twenty countries including India are taking part in the six-day event from 20 March to 25 Marcg, 2025 which is being held at Pataliputra Sports Complex Indoor Stadium in Kankarbagh.

3. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a cash reward of 58 crore rupees for Team India following their triumph at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

4. KHELO INDIA PARA GAMES

Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya officially inaugurated the 2nd edition of the Khelo India Para Games at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi

The second edition of KIPG, to be held at three venues in the capital between March 20-27, 2025, will be held in six disciplines – para-athletics, para archery, para powerlifting, para badminton, para table tennis and para shooting.

5. Indian Premier League (IPL) T20, Rajasthan Royals have announced that Riyan Parag will lead the team for the first three matches – against Sunrisers Hyderabad on the 23rd of March, Kolkata Knight Riders on the 26th of March and Chennai Super Kings on the 30th of March. Sanju Samson will return as captain once fully fit.
