Bowling in the first innings of the Test match in Rajkot, Ashwin picked the wicket of Zak Crawley to reach the incredible feat. Ashwin became the second-fastest bowler to 500 Test dismissals, only behind Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan.
