2. In the Indonesia Open 2025, two time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu won in a three-game match against Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in the Round of 32 of the Indonesia Open at Istora Senayan. Sindhu won 22-20, 21-23, 21-15 against the Japanese shuttler to advance to the second round.
3. THE NEERAJ CHOPRA CLASSIC 2025, It is India’s first-ever International Javelin competition.It is spearheaded by India’s two-time Olympic medalist, Neeraj Chopra and sanctioned by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).
The Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 is set to take place on the 5th of July at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. Initially, it was scheduled for the 24th of May, but the event was deferred due to Operation Sindoor, and to show solidarity with the nation.
