Another recored set by Avani Lekhara, becomes 1st para athlete/ 1st female para Athlete , to clinch 2 medals in a single edition of Paralympics. In her debut in Paralympics, 19 years old , World No. 5, Asian Medalist, Avni Lekhara, Won Bronze at 50 mts Air Rifle , 3P SH1 cat. , showed her immense determination, & mental strength to achieve her target.

Avni Lekhara, who earlier won Gold Medal , in Para Shooting, woman 10 Mts. AIR Pistol Stnd SH1 event, Simultaneously had set a new Paralympics Record , became 1st para shooter to clinch Gold , has Rewrite History becomes 1st Para Athlete to win 2 medals in a single Paralympics..

Only in the 1984 Paralympics, Joginder Singh Sodhi had won multiple medals in the same edition of the Games when he clinched one silver and two bronze medals.

The Indian finished off with a 10.2 to take home the bronze.
Cuiping Zhang of China won the gold, while Germany’s Natascha Hiltrop clinched the silver.
