1. Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri scored his 85th international goal to win the Tri-Nation International Football Tournament with a 2-0 win over Kyrgyz Republic. Chhetri has overtaken Hungary’s Ferenc Puskas as the fifth-highest goalscorer in the history of football. Chhetri is third on the list of active footballers with the most goals, behind only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
2. As part of the тАШDrowning Prevention AwarenessтАЩ campaign, Indian Police Service (IPS) Krishna Prakash swam from Gateway of India to Elephanta Caves, Mumbai. He completed the expedition of 16.20 kms in just 5 hours 26 minutes and became the first person in history to do so. IPS Krishna Prakash started his expedition on March 26 at 7:45 am from Gateway of India in Mumbai.
