1. Women’s National Boxing Championship 2022, event organized between the 20th to 26th of December in Bhopal.
Railways received the overall champion title while the host Madhya Pradesh team was declared as runner-up.
Nikhat Zareen won her maiden Women’s National Boxing Championships title by defeating Anamika of Railways 4-1 in the final. Whereas, Manisha of Haryana won the final match in the 57 kg category.

3. Budding badminton sensation Geto Sora made Arunachal proud by winning the Junior International Badminton Championship title in the below 9 years category, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 23.
4. Cricket Australia has renamed the Australia men’s Test Player of the Year award after ex-spinner Shane Warne who died earlier this year.
5. India-born cricketer Pushkar Sharma earned his maiden call-up to the Kenyan national cricket team. Notably, Sharma scored 841 runs from 14 innings in the NPCA (Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association) Super Division League last year.
