PGA Tour: Akshay Bhatia wins Barracuda Championship. Akshay Bhatia birdied the closing hole in regulation, then capitalised in a playoff when Patrick Rodgers found a divot in the fairway to win his first PGA Tour title at the Barracuda Championship on Sunday.

The 21-year-old Bhatia, who turned pro at 17, earned full status on the tour and a spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs.

6. India Women captain Harmanpreet Kaur is facing a two-match ban for her behaviour in the third ODI against Bangladesh. Harmanpreet had smashed the stumps after getting out and had later publicly criticised umpiring. She will likely be the first woman cricketer to be found guilty of a Level 2 breach of the ICC code of conduct.
