2. R Praggnanandhaa Follows Up Win Over Magnus Carlsen With 2 More Victories In Airthings Masters Chess. A day after a stunning victory over Magnus Carlsen, R Praggnanandhaa scored two wins and drew against Nodirbek Abdusattorov early on Tuesday. He, however, lost to Russian GM Ian Nepomniachtchi in the 11th round.
The Airthings Masters is a 12-player rapid tournament (15+10) with preliminaries and a knock-out stage. The top 8 from the qualifying stage have advanced to a 6-day knockout, with two days each for the quarterfinals, semifinals and final.
