(c) A video has gone viral showing GT’s Matthew Wade angrily throwing his helmet and bat in the dressing room after his controversial dismissal against RCB on Thursday.
Wade was adjudged LBW by the on-field umpire after which he took a review claiming the bat had touched the ball. The UltraEdge, however, didn’t pick the edge and Wade was declared out.

Indian boxer Nikhat Zareen emerged world champion with a comfortable 5-0 victory over Thailand’s Jitpong Jutamas in the flyweight (52kg) final of the Women’s World Championships in Istanbul on 19 May. Nikhat Zareen was utterly dominant against Jitpong Jutamas as she out-punched her Thai opponent to claim an outstanding unanimous 5-0 verdict. As a result of her monumental victory, she joins the elite list of six-time champions Mary Kom (2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2018), Sarita Devi (2006), Jenny RL (2006) and Lekha KC (2006) as the other boxers who have won the prestigious gold medal.

4. German boxer Musa Yamak passed away mid-way during a fight due to a heart attack. The 38-year-old collapsed in the ring in Munich on Saturday while facing Uganda’s Hamza Wandera.
