1. India won four more Gold medals in air pistol events to take their gold tally to 17 in the 15th Asian Airgun Championship at Daegu in Korea.
2. Hockey India announced 23-member Indian Men’s Hockey squad for the upcoming tour of Australia. The tour will begin from 26th November in Adelaide. The Indian team will play five matches against Australia as part of its preparation for next yearтАЩs World Cup.
3. 2022 FIFA World Cup is set to kick off on 20th November in Qatar. This will be the first-ever time that the tournament is held in the winter months. The tournament will have 32 teams competing for ultimate glory, segmented across eight groups in eight venues across Qatar.
4. Olympic medallists MC Mary Kom, PV Sindhu, Mirabai Chanu and Gagan Narang were among 10 eminent sportspersons elected as members of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) Athletes Commission.
5. Novak Djokovic has been granted a visa to play in Australian Open in January 2023. Djokovic was deported to Serbia from Australia ahead of Australian Open 2022 after he declined to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
