1. India have won three gold medals on the second day of the ongoing Asian Athletics Championships in Thailand. India’s Jyoti Yaraji won the gold in the women’s 100m hurdles and Ajay Kumar Saroj’s men’s 1500m at the Asian Athletics Championships in Thailand. Commonwealth Games silver medalist Abdullah Abubakar won India’s third gold of the day in the men’s triple jump.

2. Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur has congratulated the Indian team for their stellar performance at 2023 World Deaf Youth Badminton Championship.

3. Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur unveiled the trophy of ‘Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023’ for men’s Hockey at Major Dhyanchand National Stadium in New Delhi. On the occasion, he also launched the ‘Pass the Ball Trophy Tour’ Campaign in the presence of prominent hockey players of the country.

7. Team India captain Rohit Sharma on Thursday smashed his 10th Test hundred and overall his 44th international hundred. 220 deliveries in India’s first innings in the ongoing Dominica Test against West Indies. Rohit equalled former Australia captain Steve Smith’s tally of international hundreds.
