2. Pakistan’s Asif Ali pushed Afghanistan fast bowler Fareed Ahmad Malik after the latter dismissed him in their Asia Cup 2022 match on Wednesday. A video has gone viral showing Fareed giving Asif a send-off after which Asif pushes him and almost hits him with his bat. Other Afghanistan players and the umpire intervened and separated Asif and Fareed.
3. India have crashed out of the Asia Cup 2022 final race after Pakistan defeated Afghanistan in the last over in their Super 4 stage match on Wednesday. Afghanistan are also officially out of the final race. The final will now be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on Sunday. India and Afghanistan will face each other in dead-rubber encounter today.
