1. Athletics Federation of India (AFI) has announced a 26-member team to compete in the Tokyo Olympics. The athletics events at the Olympics start on July 31 and it will run through August 9.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has banned a former performance analyst with Sri Lanka Cricket Sanath Jayasundara from cricket for seven years after itтАЩs Anti-Corruption Tribunal found him guilty of breaching the ICC Anti-Corruption Code. The ban is backdated to May 11, 2019, when he was provisionally suspended.
