Root completed 10,000 runs in Test cricket at the age of 31 years and 157 days, equalling Alastair Cook’s record. 5. Unseeded French pair of Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic have clinched their second French Open women’s doubles title together. The 2016 champions defeated eighth seeds Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula of America 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in final on Sunday. Overall, this is Mladenovic’s fourth French Open women’s doubles title.

Rafael Nadal defeated 8th seed Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in 2 hours and 18 minutes in a one-sided men’s singles final to reign supreme on the clay courts of Pairs.
