2. Team India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has set the record for scoring most runs in an overseas Test by an India wicketkeeper. The 24-year-old set the record by aggregating 203 runs in the rescheduled fifth Test against England at Edgbaston. The previous record was set by Vijay Manjrekar, who had scored 161 runs against West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica in 1953.

Viv Richards, a member of the 1975 and 1979 World Cup-winning West Indies teams, received the accolade at the 43rd Conference of Heads of Government in Suriname.
