New Delhi, January 5, 2025: The Kho-Kho Federation of India unveiled the stunning design of the World Cup trophies on Friday, January 3, marking a historic milestone in the sport’s journey toward global recognition. These world-class trophies symbolize the pinnacle of achievement in international Kho-Kho, blending the sport’s rich heritage with its dynamic vision for the future.
The masterfully crafted trophies feature flowing curves and bold structures that reflect the dynamic movement and strategy integral to Kho-Kho. Golden figures atop each trophy capture the essence of players in motion, celebrating the speed, precision and teamwork that define this ancient sport.
“These trophies represent not just victory, but the transformation of Kho-Kho into a global phenomenon,” said Shri Sudhanshu Mittal, President of the Kho-Kho Federation of India. “They will inspire generations of players to push their boundaries and showcase our sport’s unique appeal to the world.”
The World Cup will feature two distinct trophies:
A blue trophy for the men’s championship, symbolizing trust, determination and universal appeal.
A green trophy for the women’s event, representing growth and vitality.

Scheduled to take place from 13th to 19th January, 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, the Kho-Kho World Cup will be held under the aegis of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, featuring 21 men’s and 20 women’s teams from 24 countries across six continents, showcasing the universal appeal and competitive spirit of this dynamic sport.
