RCB dominated Match 16 by sealing the victory by 10 wickets with 21 balls still left to go. RCB’s Devdutt Padikkal, scored his IPL century which also happens to be the quickest century by an uncapped player. Skipper joined the fray and got with the pace of the runs flowing in. He managed to score his first fifty of the season. RCB’s batsmen unapologetically bashed RR’s bowlers one length at a time. RCB clenched their 4th won of the season, topping the list. RR slipped to bottom most post the loss.
RR’s Shivam Dube & Rahul Tewatia pushed RR from 43-5 to 177-9. With RR struggling in the middle, RCB did not leave any stone unturned to bring RR down as quickly as possible. RR was back on track with Dube attacking with two huge sixes and a four. RR stood at 81/4 after 11 overs. Dube – Riyan Parag brought up there 50 partnership. RR reached the 150 run mark by 18th over. RR Shreyas Gopal hit a six and helped RR reach 177/9 on the board by the end of the first inning.
