DP World International League T20 hosted a curtain-raiser event at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach on Thursday, 12 January 2023. Attending the invitation-only event were title sponsor DP World, global broadcaster Zee, owners and representative of the six franchises as well as cricketing legends Mohammad Azharuddin, Ian Bishop, David Gower, Wasim Akram and Virender Sehwag and special invited guests.The Dubai Capitals are set to take on the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the opening match of the tournament at the Dubai International Stadium on Friday, 13 January 2023.
