Adani Ahmedabad Marathon grows bigger with leading partners for its 9th edition

Ahmedabad, 28 November 2025: As the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon (AAM) enters its 9th edition, Adani Sportsline today announced the line-up of core partners who continue to play a pivotal role in scaling the event and strengthening its impact. Scheduled for Sunday, November 30, at the Sabarmati Riverfront, the marathon has evolved into one of India’s most respected running movements, rooted in community spirit and its core #Run4OurSoldiers initiative that honours the Indian Armed Forces.

This year’s partner roster features some of India’s most trusted and established institutions that reinforces the marathon’s values of strength, commitment, nation-building, and service.

Adani Ports leads as the Title Partner, reinforcing the marathon’s scale and credibility as India’s largest port developer and operator. Ambuja Cement returns as the Powered By Partner, bringing its legacy of building strong, sustainable infrastructure, while Fortune joins as an Associate Partner, representing one of India’s most trusted household brands. Adani Defence strengthens the line-up as an Associate Partner, reflecting its growing leadership in defence manufacturing and aligning with the marathon’s commitment to honouring the Armed Forces. ACC partners as the Trusted Partner, backed by its longstanding reputation in reliable building materials.

Axis Bank joins as the Official Banking Partner in a long-term, three-year association that reflects its commitment to empowering communities and fostering fitness-led lifestyles. With its deep connection to the city and focus on inclusive growth, Axis Bank’s partnership further elevates Adani Ahmedabad Marathon’s stature as one of India’s premier running events.

In addition to these principal partners, the marathon is also supported by several key contributors, KD Hospital as the Medical Partner, Sabarmati Riverfront as the Venue Partner, Hyatt as the Hospitality Partner, and 108 Emergency Services as the Emergency Partner.

About Adani Ahmedabad Marathon

The marathon, an initiative of the Adani Group, is an expression of solidarity towards the brave-hearts of India’s armed forces. The marathon took its inaugural stride in November 2017 and completed its fifth lap in November 2021. It has earned runners’ affection for offering one of the most picturesque routes in the world. The race categories include full marathon, half marathon, 10 km run and 5 km run. The races, which attracted nearly 20,000 participants in the first two editions, saw over 17,000 participants in the third and fourth editions. Post-Covid, the Ahmedabad Marathon was the first to organise a physical event by devising time-slot based systems that permitted over 8,000 runners to participate in 2021 over two days while adhering to COVID-19 norms.

In 2022, the Ahmedabad Marathon made it to the ‘Global Marathon Event List – AIMS World Running’, Ahmedabad’s only run to be featured on this global list. In 2024, more than 20,000 participants had joined the #Run4OurSoldiers event in solidarity of our armed forces.

The “#Run4OurSoldiers” campaign is its distinguishing feature. It presents a unique opportunity for participants to pay tribute to our soldiers. More than 3,000 defence personnel participated in the run last year. A major portion of the proceeds goes for the welfare of the armed forces.
