After an hour or so of brisk walking,
where your mind, breath, and heart
work in sync
I returned to my chambers,
quietly pacing up to peace.
The memories of the day
flooded in my silhouette
as if making me reflect
on what I missed earlier
it was the image of little
children meditating in the
classroom, with open
palms on things, straight
spines, closed eyes, and
focus on the breath.
Time lapsed and a minute
turned into half an hour
and they sat quietly
absolutely focused
something that adults find
difficult with themselves. I
wonder why.
