Society’s Job: To Mold Individual Into Sheeps
In the process of growing up and becoming a grown-up, each one of us crosses various phases
of life and goes through the societal draw of schoolhood, then college and university, then a job
and marriage and children, and then raising children in a disciplined manner and making them
successful. The same process repeats itself until the person dies.
But the question arises is this the only way to live? And why only a few people among everyone
can come out of this cycle and do what they want to do? Then, the next question is why is the
right way to live- societal way or your way?
Your Job: To Achieve Your Highest Potential
Well, the way to approach these questions is to unlearn whatever you have learned till now, then
learn from your experiences and evolve daily.
Let go of all the limiting thoughts, costumes, and everything in life and begin fresh. Approach
everything in life with a new outlook as if you know nothing. Instead of charting your whole life
on a piece of paper, be open, be lively, and believe anything and everything is possible. Find out
from scratch: the right way to eat, sleep, dress up, and talk to other people.
Give yourself room to breathe. What kind of education is best for you? Is it school, college, and
university, or self-study? What do you want to choose as a career? And don’t make it written in
stone that it can not change like if you wanted to be a civil servant earlier then you became one
and now you want to teach and do social service, then do it. It is your life and you have full
freedom to choose every aspect of your life the way you want it.
In fact, when it comes to marriage then see if you want a partner or not, if you are at your best
alone then stay single. All that matters is that every single decision you take in life whether it is
education, career, marriage, or samadhi, is in your well-being and growth. Like Abdul Kalam,
Tata Ratan, etc; these great personalities did not marry but contributed 110% to the country and
its growth.
Take A Bold Decision:
Your job and only responsibility as a soul is to become your best self and serve up to your full
potential. In the process, you will have to make many bold decisions and not everyone will
always support you but if it is in your and others’ well-being then even if it is a diversion from
societal norms, go ahead and do it, and let your inner consciousness be your guide on this path.
