1. President Droupadi Murmu held productive talks with King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni at Rashtrapati Bhawan on Tuesday evening.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 22nd Summit of the SCO Council of Heads of State on 4th July. It will be held in the virtual format.

3. The 7th round of Foreign Office Consultations between India and Austria was held in New Delhi on Tuesday.

4. US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti has said that the United States Court has approved extradition of 26/11 Mumbai attacker Tahawwur Rana and it is a sort of collaboration and cooperation where both US and India are working together to bring terrorists to justice.

5. New Liberation War Gallery Inaugurated at the Indian Cultural Centre in Dhaka. High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Pranay Verma joined Home Minister of Bangladesh Asaduzzaman Khan in the inauguration of Liberation War Gallery that contains rare photographs of 1971 Liberation war.

6. Nepal PM Prachanda to reach New Delhi on Wednesday on 4-day visit to India.

7. Sri Lanka to import 10 lakh eggs daily from India to meet demand. Sri Lanka State Trading Corporation Chairman Asiri Walisundara has said.

8. India on Tuesday signed an agreement with Colombo to enable the use of USD 1 billion credit facility for the procurement of medicine, food, and other essentials for one more year.

1. A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Boeing 777 aircraft was seized by authorities in Malaysia over a lease dispute. The aircraft, acquired on lease from Malaysia, was seized at Kuala Lumpur International Airport over non-payment of dues worth $4 million.

2. The four-member crew of Axiom Mission 2, the second all-private astronaut mission to International Space Station (ISS), is heading back to Earth in SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft. The spacecraft has undocked from ISS and is expected to splash down off the coast of Florida on Wednesday at around 8:30 am IST. The mission carried the first Saudi Arabian woman to space.

3. UAE TO LAND SPACECRAFT ON ASTEROID BETWEEN MARS & JUPITER IN 2034:: The UAE has announced its plans to explore the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. The nation’s MBR Explorer will visit its first asteroid in 2030 and after passing six asteroids, the mission aims to touch down upon Justitia in 2034 with a small lander that will deploy from MBR Explorer. UAE plans to launch the mission in 2028.

4. North Korean satellite plunges into sea after rocket failure. The new “Chollima-1” satellite launch rocket failed because of instability in the engine and fuel system.

5. Debt limits and political showdowns, Record deficits, and the looming battle over U.S. spending. The challenges of rising U.S. deficits and the political showdowns surrounding the debt limit deal for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Even with the new spending restraints in the debt limit deal that cut borrowing by $1.5 trillion, the U.S. government’s deficits are still on course to keep climbing to record levels over the next few decades.

6. Ukraine war comes to Moscow as drones strike both capitals. Ukrainian drones struck wealthy districts of Moscow on Tuesday, Russia said in what one politician called the most dangerous attack on the capital since World War Two, while Kyiv was also hit from the air for the third time in 24 hours.

Since Russia sent tens of thousands of troops into its neighbour in February 2022, the war has largely been fought inside Ukraine.
