google announces cyber security upskilling program for india developers

1. IT giants, Google has unveiled a programme to upskill 100,000 Indian developers and researchers in cyber security.

The campaign will be part of the company’s Cyber Security Roadshow, which will cover multiple cities across India and offer tools, tutorials, and mentorship on security practices for building consumer apps, as well as enterprise programmes.

2. United Nations General Assembly, UNGA President and Foreign Minister of Maldives Abdulla Shahid on Sunday called on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in New Delhi. Welcoming Abdulla Shahid to India, Mr. Dhankhar said, his dynamic leadership of the 76th UNGA and his presidency priorities, in particular on revitalizing the UN, has universal appeal.

1. BANGLADESH : Tea workers resume work after PM Hasina intervenes to fix wages at Taka 170 per day
Majority of the tea-workers resumed work after their wages were raised from Taka 120 per day to Taka 170 per day.

2. Pakistan National Disaster Management Authority said the monsoon rains have killed over one thousand people and millions have been displaced in the flood that has wreaked havoc across the country. Thousands of people fled their homes after rivers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province burst their banks, causing powerful flash floods.

3. The death toll from the armed clashes that erupted in Libya’s capital Tripoli on Saturday has risen to 32, Libya’s health ministry said. Fighting broke out between militias loyal to the internationally recognised Tripoli-based government and the parliament operating from the country’s east.
