1. PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe during state funeral in Tokyo.

2. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar arrived in Bali, Indonesia on a three day visit to participate in G-20 Summit.

3. Edible oil trade associations from five palm oil importing countries in South Asia – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal, announced the setting up of Asian Palm Oil Alliance (APOA).

4. Sri Lanka will support the Indian and Japanese bids for permanent membership status at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), President Ranil Wickremesinghe said on Tuesday.

1. Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif will hold a meeting with the National Security Committee (NSC) on Wednesday to discuss the purported audio recording leaks from his office.

2. Ukrainian presidential advisor Mikhaylo Podolyak on Tuesday described the leaks detected on the Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea as a Russian “terrorist attack”.

3. The International Monetary Fund openly criticised Britain’s new economic strategy on Tuesday, following another slide in bond markets that forced the Bank of England to promise a “significant” response to stabilise the economy.
