1. Russia has become India’s biggest fertilizer supplier for the first time. Russian exporters reportedly grabbed a 21% share of the Indian fertilizer market in the first half of the 2022-23 fiscal year, overtaking China, previously India’s largest supplier.

2. At least one person was killed and 18 others got injured due to twin explosions in Jerusalem on Wednesday morning.

3. Germany has offered Eurofighter combat jets and Patriot air defence missiles to Poland to help secure its airspace.

The lashings were attended by hundreds of spectators, following invitations being sent out by the administration. The lashings were announced after the individuals were convicted by a local court of theft or adultery. Each individual received between 21 and 39 lashes.
