1. Ministry of External Affairs has said that the Government of India is making all out efforts to ensure safety and security of Indians stranded in Sudan.
2. India is in talks with Russia to inaugurate the Chennai-Vladivostok Maritime Corridor to boost maritime ties between the two countries, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said.
3. Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Sunday tweeted “Congratulations” in response to ISRO’s tweet about the successful completion of its PSLV-C55/TeLEOS-2 mission. In the commercial mission, ISRO launched its PSLV-C55 with two Singaporean satellites for Earth observation, from Sriharikota on Saturday. The mission marked the 57th flight of the ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).

4. Pakistanis voiced against the persecution of Uyghurs, the Muslim community in the neighbouring Xinjiang province.
US Senator Marco Rubio reintroduced the Uyghur Policy Act in the Senate. This bipartisan bill would increase US support for the Uyghur diaspora in the United States and other countries, as well as advocate for improving the conditions of Uyghurs in China.
5. Countries rush to evacuate citizens from Sudan as conflict enters second week. The US and UK are among other countries that rescued citizens amid conflict between Sudanese Army and the country’s powerful paramilitary forces. German army said a plane carrying 101 people on board had left from Sudan. Similarly, Italy and Spain also evacuated their citizens along with other foreign nationals from Argentina, Colombia, Portugal, Mexico, Ireland, Venezuela, Poland and Sudan. Violence erupted in the country between forces loyal to country’s chief of paramilitary forces Mohamed Hamdan Daglo and those of Sudanese army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan that reportedly claimed lives of hundreds and left thousands wounded.
