Ukrainian missile strikes headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, building smolders
Sevastopol, the main base of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet since the 19th century, has had a particular importance for navy operations since the start of the invasion of Ukraine.

Vice President of the Iran-India Joint Chamber of Commerce, Mahdi Rangrona on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Director General and CEO of Federation of Indian Export Organizations, Ajay Shai.The two signed the MoU to strengthen trade, investment, quality standards and technology transfer.

6. Syrian President Bashar Assad arrived in China on Thursday on his first visit to the country since the start of Syria’s 12-year conflict. The Syrian leader is set to attend Saturday’s Asian Games opening ceremony.

China has been expanding its reach in the Middle East after mediating a deal in March between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and it continues to support Assad in the Syrian conflict, which has killed half a million people and left large parts of the nation in ruins.

7. Group of Four (G4) nations met on Thursday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York to discuss the ongoing negotiations for the reform of the UN Security Council (UNSC).

8. Canada has condemned the “offensive and hateful” videos, which surfaced online asking Hindus of Indian origin to leave the country, terming it an “affront” to all Canadians and the values they hold.The Ministry of Public Safety of the Canadian government in a statement posted on X said, “There is no place in Canada for hate”.
