1. The Global Fintech Fest 2022 is organized to provide a platform to discuss ways to achieve sustainable finance. The GFF 2022 is jointly organized by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the Payments Council of India (PCI) and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC). It is being organized from September 19 to 22.
2. September 21 is observed as the International Day of Peace.
3. The United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has strongly condemned the attack by government troops on a school in Let Yet Kone in Sagaing Region in Myanmar. The attack which took place last Friday left 13 people dead including 11 school children.
