3. India on Saturday supplied another 40,000 metric tonnes of diesel to Sri Lanka amid an economic crisis in the country. 1. The Russian Foreign Ministry on Saturday said that it has banned 963 US citizens from entering Russia so far. The West and Russia began to impose travel bans on individuals since the start of war in Ukraine on February 24.
2. US President Joe Biden on Saturday signed a bill to provide nearly $40 billion in aid for Ukraine in its fight against Russia, the White House announced. The legislation includes $20 billion in military assistance and $8 billion in general economic support. Notably, Biden signed the bill while visiting South Korea on his first trip to Asia as the President.
