Another Khalistan-linked gangster Sukhdool Singh shot dead in Canada. Sukhdool Singh alias Sukha Duneke, who belonged to Moga in Punjab, was a close associate of designated terrorist Arsh Dalla of the Khalistan Tiger Force.

1. 🇺🇸US President Joe Biden has been invited to India’s January 26-Republic Day celebrations, the Ambassador of US to India, Eric Garcetti revealed on Wednesday.

2. India and the United States have joined forces to launch as many as 10,000 electric buses on the streets of India, bringing about a significant transformation in India’s public transportation system.

4. Amid the India- 🇨🇦Canada diplomatic standoff, 🇺🇸US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti has said that perpetrators should be brought to justice and that there should be a space for investigation before a judgement is made.

5. The Indian World Forum (IWF) on Wednesday strongly condemned the actions of unlawful organisations, including Sikhs for Justice, for their disturbing activities targeting the Indian diaspora in Canada and urged the Canadian government to act seriously on designated terrorists including Arshdeep Singh Dhalla and Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

6. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) summoned the Canadian High Commissioner, Cameron MacKay, and informed about India’s decision to expel the Canadian diplomat based in India.

In a tit-for-tat move, India on Tuesday expelled a top Canadian diplomat Olivier Sylvester, hours after Canada expelled an Indian diplomat following Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s allegation of a potential link between the Indian government and the killing of a Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

7. Taking a jibe at Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his allegations on India for its involvement in the alleged killing of the Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Canada’s opposition leader Pierre Poilievre has said that he should come out clean with all the facts in order to make judgements.

8. Pointing out at Pakistan’s poor economic condition, former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif has said that while India reached the moon, but his country (Pakistan) has been reduced to begging for dollars reported. Sharif was addressing his party workers from London where he has been staying in exile.

9. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan raised the issue of Kashmir during his address to world leaders at the high-level 78th session of the UN General Assembly session.

Erdogan said in his address to the General Debate that: ‘Another development that will pave the way for regional peace, stability and prosperity in South Asia will be the establishment of a just and lasting peace in Kashmir through dialogue and cooperation between India and Pakistan’.

1. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has reportedly stopped Pakistan from giving relief to power consumers using over 200 units, monthly.
