Israel on Sunday released a video of what it described as a tunnel dug by Palestinian operatives under Shifa Hospital complex in Gaza. The defence forces also highlighted that the tunnel entrance contains various defence mechanisms, such as a blast-proof door and a firing hole.

1. The Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Defence Minister Richard Marles, along with the Foreign Affairs Minister of Australia Penny Wong, reached India to attend the second India-Australia 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue in New Delhi.

The project is known as the Lunar Sample Return Mission (LSRM).

5. Next QUAD summit likely to be held in January; date may be announced at 2+2 dialogue. The Australian and Japanese governments have informally conveyed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) that January 27 is an acceptable date.

6. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju expressed his delight over the interaction with the “vibrant and committed” Indian community in Maldives, acknowledging their significant contributions to nurturing the strong ties between India and Maldives.

7. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday condemned the hijacking of an international vessel by Iran-backed Houthis in the Red Sea and called it a ‘very serious incident on the global scale.
