1. Pakistan has temporarily relaxed its mutually agreed limit with India of 10 days advance intimation before the arrival of Sikh pilgrims to the revered Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan for the 552nd birth anniversary celebrations of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev.
2. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Friday that India and China are going through a ‘particularly bad patch’ in their ties because Beijing has taken a set of actions in violation of agreements for which it still doesn’t have a ‘credible explanation’ and it is for the Chinese leadership to answer where they want to take the bilateral relationship.

1. The 552nd Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev was observed at the historic Nanakshahi Gurudwara in Dhaka on Friday. People from various walks of life offered obeisance at the Gurdwara on the occasion of the Gurupurab. A programme of community feast or Langar was organised for the people and special prayers from Gurubani were recited.
2. Austria govt on 19 Nov announced a full national COVID-19 lockdown starting from Monday. With this announcement, Austria has become the first country in Western Europe to reimpose a full Coronavirus lockdown to tackle a new wave of infections.
